Fabulously British

There is something about British culture that I just adore.  I’ve been lucky enough to spend some time in England, so I’m a huge fan of many U.K.-based fashion labels, like Vivienne Westwood and Topshop.  So this weekend, when I was in Nantucket, I was happy to find Jack Wills.

The store caught my attention because it seemed like an Abercrombie & Fitch with a British flare.  Their website explains their design philosophy:

Our clothing draws heavily on the British heritage and culture, which is created by our designers. Design inspiration follows British military history, British sporting traditions, British country pursuits. The quirky product & fabric details reflect an eccentric British style.

Jack Wills offers clothing and accessories for men and women, as well as fun home furnishings.  The pillows had British inspired prints, like one of the Queen Mum and the Union Jack.  How fun!

While the clothing and home goods were awesome, my favorite part of the store was the fitting room.  It was decorated like a bedroom – complete with a bed and chair!  Does it get any cooler than that?
Jack Wills has limited locations in the United States.  That being said, I couldn’t leave without a pair of flip flops and a new bikiki featuring a sailboat print.  Check their website for a store near you, or just shop online.
